The Dallas Police Department said that a man in west Oak Cliff was fatally shot multiple times early Sunday.
Officers got a call reporting a man who had been shot multiple times at the 3800 block of West Davis Street, near North Westmoreland Road. When police got to the scene, they found the man had died after he was shot multiple times.
Police have identified the man as Julio Arthur Alvarez, 38.
Police have not provided information about what led to the shooting. It is unclear whether the department has a possible suspect as no information concerning an investigation has been provided.
