Police Search for Suspect Who Shot Victim Along Metropolitan Avenue

The victim, who investigators believe to be approximately 20-years-old, was pronounced dead at the scene by Dallas Fire and Rescue.  

Dallas police are looking for a suspect accused of fatally shooting an unidentified man in the Fair Park area.  

Investigators said the incident happened around 6:30 p.m. on November 16. Dallas police officers responded to a shooting call in the 4100 block of Metropolitan Avenue near the Paul Dunbar Learning Center.  

Responding officers found an unidentified black male who had been shot multiple times. The victim, who investigators believe to be approximately 20-years-old, was pronounced dead at the scene by Dallas Fire and Rescue.  

Dallas police investigators say they are still investigating the incident. Dallas police have no witnesses, and no suspects have been identified.   

The DPD Homicide Unit is seeking the public’s help in identifying the victim and arresting the suspected shooter or shooters.
