Police Identify Suspect Who Allegedly Killed a Man During Robbery

The Dallas Police Department has identified a suspect in connection with a shooting that left a 46-year-old man dead last weekend in Buckner Terrace.

Dallas police identified Diavontain Shamar Hill, 24, as the suspect who allegedly shot Nizar Raiyyani shortly before 9 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 24. The shooting took place following an argument which police said turned into a robbery.

It occurred at the 4800 block of South Buckner Boulevard in Buckner Terrace, where Dallas police officers found the victim who had been fatally shot.

Dallas police did not reveal how they identified Hill as the suspect.
