Fort Worth Police believe they have identified a man found dead near a school at the end of December.
The unidentified victim’s body was discovered at 8201 Parkwood Hill Boulevard on December 26, 2021, near Parkwood Hill Intermediate School in Fort Worth.
The Fort Worth Police Department posted an artist’s rendering of the man on social media on March 7, asking the public to help identify him.
In the post, they also shared photos of the shirt and shoes the man was wearing when he was found.
About two hours after the post, police said they received a call that shed light on the man’s identity.
The Fort Worth Police Department is now working with the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s office to confirm the man’s identity and notify his family.
