Dallas police have arrested a man on suspicion of an assault over the weekend. The suspect allegedly assaulted a CVS employee in Lake Highlands on Saturday, Oct. 23. That day, at about 5:15 p.m., police were called to the CVS at 7203 Skillman Street, not far from Walnut Hill Lane and Abrams Road.

When they arrived, they met the employee, a 63-year-old, who had sustained injuries from being attacked unprovoked, police say. Per the police department, the employee was taken to a hospital in critical condition.

The police have not revealed the employee’s identity.

The suspect, Miles, was booked into the Dallas County jail at about 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The department had earlier announced that officers were searching for him, saying that the suspect left the pharmacy after the shooting and walked north on Skillman Street.

Police have not said how they identified Miles. However, they released images of him.

As of Tuesday, it is unclear whether Miles has an attorney. Police say his bail has not been set.
