A new luxury private terminal for commercial airline passengers is set to open at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport just ahead of this summer’s FIFA World Cup matches in North Texas.
Los Angeles-based company PS, formerly known as The Private Suite, announced it will debut a 12,200-square-foot private terminal at DFW on June 1. The gated facility will allow travelers flying on commercial airlines to avoid the airport’s main terminals and traditional security lines by using dedicated screening and private transportation services.
The terminal is located next to DFW’s corporate aviation facility and is aimed at high-end travelers seeking a more private airport experience during what is expected to be a busy travel season surrounding the World Cup matches in Arlington.
In a statement, PS said its facilities are “designed to eliminate the friction at every stage of travel — transforming the journey into a refined and seamless experience, from beginning to end,” CultureMap Dallas reported.
The terminal will offer two types of experiences. The Salon is designed as a shared social lounge for solo travelers and small groups and includes a 40-foot bar inspired by traditional Southern bars. Private suites are intended to create what the company described as “a deeply personal, homey feel” for guests.
Amenities include chef-prepared meals, spa services, luggage assistance, and private TSA screening. Customers will also receive BMW chauffeur transportation across the airfield directly to their aircraft. Later this year, PS plans to introduce chauffeur transportation from the aircraft directly to passengers’ homes or hotels.
A third option, PS Direct, will be available later this year, offering door-to-door service that transports guests from the aircraft directly to their home or hotel.
Dallas designer Jean Liu created the terminal’s interior design, which incorporates themes inspired by Western landscapes and cowboy culture.
“We leaned into the notion of Southern hospitality for this project,” Liu said, per CultureMap. “As much as possible, we pushed the envelope to incorporate residential elements — rather than what you’d typically see in a commercial space — to truly make this feel like stepping into someone’s home. PS DFW is designed to be warm, elevated, and welcoming for everyone passing through.”
The Salon also features a mural by Dallas artist Amy Berlin in collaboration with Los Angeles artist Candice Kaye. According to the company, the piece uses suitcase liners, maps, and vintage materials to blend Dallas-inspired textures with themes of global travel.
PS CEO Amina Belouizdad Porter said the DFW location is part of the company’s larger expansion strategy.
“As we expand, our focus remains on reimagining the airport experience by bringing the privacy, comfort, and personalized service of a five-star hotel into the journey itself,” Porter said, per CultureMap.
The company already operates terminals at Los Angeles International Airport and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, with additional locations planned in Miami and Paris as part of a goal to establish private terminals at major U.S. airports by 2030.
The opening comes as North Texas prepares to host nine FIFA World Cup matches between June 14 and July 14, 2026, more than any other host market in the tournament.
According to pricing listed on the company’s website, access to The Salon begins at $1,295 per person. Private suites start at $4,950 for up to four travelers, while the PS Direct service costs $1,650 per person.
