Missing Canadian Man Who Came to Dallas for Cowboys Game Died in Car Crash, Family Says

The family of a Canadian man who was reported missing after he came to Dallas for a football game said he died in a fatal car crash. Authorities in Dallas have not confirmed if Tschritter was indeed an occupant in the fatal crash.

Earlier, The Dallas Express reported that police are investigating a missing person report after the family of Aaron Tschritter, a Canadian, reported him missing.

Tschritter was last seen leaving the Vinty Nightclub in Deep Ellum around 3 a.m. on Thursday, November 25. He had plans to attend a Cowboys game that afternoon, but he never made it to the event.

Tschritter’s family became concerned after not hearing from him for a day and filed a missing person report with the Dallas PD.

According to CBS 11 News, Dallas police said two men were traveling in a gray 2015 BMW M4 when the driver lost control of the vehicle and ran into a building and electric pole at 1600 S. Good Latimer Expressway.

Police said the vehicle burst into flames immediately. All attempts made by the Dallas Fire-Rescue and several bystanders to rescue the vehicle’s occupants proved unsuccessful as the two men were pronounced dead.

Dallas Police made the report of the accident shortly after Tschritter was last seen. According to CBS 11 News, his family has confirmed that the Canadian was one of the occupants in the fatal crash.

Tschritter’s wife posted a picture of him on her social media page holding their son and stated that he died in a car crash in Dallas. CBS 11 News also reported that Tschritter’s sister posted that her brother died in a car wreck in Dallas on her social media account.

Authorities in Dallas have not confirmed if Tschritter was indeed an occupant in the fatal crash. Still, according to CBS 11 News, many on social media suggested the two events (Tschritter’s last known location and the police report) could be connected due to close spatial and temporal proximity to one another.
