Man Robs Illegal Game Room and Kills Customer

Dallas police arrested a man after he allegedly killed a customer during a robbery at an illegal game room, located in the 4800 block of South Buckner Boulevard, just south of Samuell Boulevard.   

DPD arrested Diavontain Shamar Hill, 24, for the murder of Nizar Norrali Raiyyani. Hill allegedly killed Raiyyani just before 9 a.m. October 24 in Buckner Terrace. 

According to witnesses a security guard at the game room, Raiyyani and Hill had been in an argument. Dallas police alleged Hill then fired a handgun in the air and held one person at gunpoint before demanding money. Police reported that Hill stole around $10,000 from the game room.

Police said Hill was trying to leave the game room when Raiyyani began shooting at him. Hill fired back and fatally shot Raiyyani.  

According to court documents, the shooting was captured on video, and a witness identified Hill as the shooter.
