Jay Rojas was pulled over by law enforcement in Houston on January 5, 2022, following reports that the pickup he was driving was on fire.
Deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s precinct pulled Rojas over. As reported by the Precinct 4 Facebook, deputies discovered that the fire being reported was from a lit BBQ pit Rojas’ truck bed creating a large fire. They also found that Rojas was allegedly driving while intoxicated and in possession of Cocaine.
“Jay Rojas was arrested and booked in the Harris County Jail, charged with driving while intoxicated and possession of a controlled substance,” said Herman’s online statement. “His bond and court information have not been set at this time.”
Rojas’ arrest came five days before his fortieth birthday, according to his Harris County Mugshot.
