A man has been charged with murder after his wife, reported missing last week, was found dead two days later.

On February 21, police put out a missing persons alert for 25-year-old Kyaira Nicole Williams of Dallas on The DPD Beat.

However, they later updated the alert to announce that she was found dead on February 23. Her body was located under a bridge on southbound 8800 Julius Schepps Freeway. According to police, she had been shot multiple times.

Upon investigation into the death, detectives arrested Williams’ husband, 26-year-old Brannon Williams, for her alleged murder. Williams has been transported to the Dallas County Jail. His bond is yet to be set as of February 24.

Police have not released further details about what led to Williams’ arrest in his wife’s murder or how exactly she was murdered.
