A suspected drunken-driving crash in which two cars collided in southeast Dallas has left one person dead and several others injured, according to a FOX 4 News report.

The two vehicles collided just before 11 p.m. on Sunday at the intersection of Great Trinity Forest Way and Jim Miller Road.

According to FOX 4 News, Dallas police said the 29-year-old woman driving one of the vehicles, a black and white Ford Crown Victoria, was intoxicated and driving too fast.

Police said the 29-year-old driver crashed into a grey Chrysler 300 with five people inside. Four of the five occupants of the Chrysler were hospitalized with serious injuries.

Unique Brown, 21, a passenger in the Ford vehicle, was killed in the crash. The driver of the Ford sustained serious injuries.

FOX 4 News reported that Dallas police have not released the driver’s identity because she is still in the hospital awaiting surgery.

Once she is released from the hospital, the driver will be handed over to the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office, where she will likely be charged with intoxication manslaughter and four counts of intoxication assault.
