Interstate 30 through downtown Dallas will close this weekend between I-35E and the I-45/U.S. 75 interchange, from Friday 10 p.m. to Monday 5 a.m., weather permitting, NewsRadio 1080 KRLD reported. Detours will route traffic to Spur 366/Woodall Rodgers as part of TxDOT’s $888 million I-30 Canyon project, slated to finish in 2030–31.
The closure follows a similar full shutdown earlier this month, with construction work now resuming again this weekend.
