Dallas police are searching for 18-year-old Juan Garcia, who went missing on Wednesday morning from the Oak Cliff area.
The teenager was last seen around 7 a.m. in the 3200 block of East Perryton Drive.
Authorities have classified Garcia as a critical missing person, though they haven’t disclosed why his disappearance warrants the urgent designation. The classification typically indicates concerns about a person’s safety or well-being.
Garcia stands 6 feet tall and weighs approximately 100 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a red shirt, khaki pants, and a dark-colored zip-up hoodie when he disappeared.
The teen was also carrying a clear backpack at the time. Police haven’t revealed what prompted his disappearance or where he might have been headed.
Dallas Police Department detectives are asking anyone with information about Garcia’s whereabouts to call 911 immediately. Tips can also be submitted to the department’s missing persons unit at 214-671-4268.
