Dallas Police Ask Public for Help in Solving 2017 Murder Case

Five years after a 26-year-old man was murdered in his home, the Dallas Police Department is still working on finding the person who killed him. 

Malcolm Whitaker was found dead in his home on March 3, 2017. This was at 2501 Hillburn Drive in Dallas. 

Police are still asking the public for information that could help them find the culprit. 

Authorities did not provide any information about possible suspects. 

The Dallas Police Department urges anyone with information about this murder to contact SIU Detective Woods, #6546, at 214-671-3721 and refer to case number 049630-2017. Informants can also email the detective at [email protected].  

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to the arrest and indictment in this case. Tipsters can call in at any time via (214) 373-TIPS.
