A deadly crash happened on I-20 early on May 29, the Dallas County Sheriff’s Department said.
According to the department, the crash happened just after 2 a.m. around the S. Polk Street exit in the west lane of the interstate.
Investigators said a driver lost control of his vehicle. The driver, whose name, gender, or age is not known, was pronounced dead. It is unclear whether he died at the scene or made it to the hospital.
As deputies investigated the crash, parts of I-20 had to be closed down for hours.
Investigators said they did not find any other vehicles involved in the crash.
