FORT WORTH — Tempers flared on Sunday during a drag-show protest at Fort Worth Brewery and Pizza.

Demonstrators from Protect Texas Kids and others were protesting a family-friendly drag show that allowed children to attend.

One protestor was allegedly pepper sprayed by alleged members of the Elm Fork John Brown Gun Club.

Moments later, a group member dressed in all black was pursued by Fort Worth police.

The masked person was swiftly tackled by officers.

That started a cascade of events, which led police to separate both groups.

Officers began to push back John Brown Gun Club members to the end of the street.

At one point, another member of the group dressed in all black began cursing at the officers. He was close enough to touch the officers.

An unknown woman began to interfere and was subsequently taken down by officers and arrested.

After the event, Protest Texas Kids tweeted: “It’s about time these clowns get arrested.”

One person responded, “Arrests are good, but convictions are the only thing that matters.”

Several Twitter commentators thanked Fort Worth police. “Good job,” wrote one. “FWPD doing it right,” another posted.

We can only hope that these arrests were for FELONIES as they should be. Aggravated battery comes to mind, unlawful use of controlled less-than-lethal self protection device also comes to mind.

Then there was an organized conflict. Prove that three or more had discussed and organized the aggravated battery and you now have a CONSPIRACY, that can lead to 15 year sentences on mot states.

Prosecutors, do you job and make the police finish the investigation by looking at email and text messages. Find the organized side of it. Make additional arrests for conspiracy. We know it is possible, so DO YOUR JOB.

These people belong in Prison LONG TERM.

Lol. nice one sided story, Malice Supress.

When we going to get a Harlan Crow story, or a story about this right wing rag’s owner and where he was on J6?

Crickets? Cool. Keep playing the victim, Malice Supress, you will all be out of work after the 2024 elections.

I think most of the antifa people are trannies, which explains why they support the pedophiles

So, let me get this straight. This business establishment left the decision about minors attending the show to the parents of said minors…not the government.

The Police did nothing wrong. But the protestors are once again proving that Texas is and always will be a backwoods territory controlled by a religion/cult.

So help me understand, the same people that attacked the Nation’s Capital and Capital Police are now in favor of the police doing their job? As I see it conservative nut jobs like the police when they are abusive toward freedom fighters, but hate the police and FBI when they hold conservatives responsible.

Antifa and the LGBT community, are greatly, one in the same. Start arresting and pulling the masks off the Antifa thugs and you’ll see an abundance of DNC, FBI, Marxist, Green Peace and LGBT all mixed together in a brew of toxic violence.

I have been at my fair share of these protests and it’s so easy to be provoked by the protestors. They scream you are an “abomination,” “evil” and other such nonsense, loudly praying and condemning you. But you can’t react, you don’t shoot the finger and you don’t curse at them. You stand your ground peacefully, proudly showing your support. And when the man incessantly screams at you with a megaphone “you are doomed!”, you give him a subtle thumbs down and look him straight in the eye. Their head will always drop with shame as they realize they have chosen the side of hate. The man peppered sprayed, adorned in what appeared to be a wrinkled blue suit, had a red face, eyes almost swelled shut and in obvious pain. Once that shot was fired, so to say, police moved in aggressively to shut down confrontations, separating both groups by over a block. The police were perhaps too aggressive, but once they step in you must back down, rightfully or not. And you absolutely cannot, under any circumstances, spray that damn pepper spray.

I was at this event and had no idea this was happening outside. Fort Worth Police did a great job.
