Tornado Warning Issued for Dallas County

The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a tornado warning for Dallas County.

Dallas County residents are advised to immediately seek shelter. The warning is currently in effect until 5:30 p.m.

Affected areas include Irving, University Park, and Highland Park, according to the weather service.

Earlier on Thursday, a tornado warning was issued for Tarrant County. It was canceled at 4:42 p.m.

The storm system is expected to bring hail, high winds, and rain to the region through 8 p.m., the weather service said.
