Alleged Gunmen Crash Twice and Injure Three While Fleeing Crime Scene

Alleged gunmen fleeing a shooting scene on March 5 reportedly got into two crashes that injured three people during their escape.

The shooting incident occurred at approximately 1 a.m. in the 2700 block of Romine Avenue, near South Malcolm X Boulevard.

Per The Dallas Morning News, Witnesses told police that three men in a vehicle had opened fire.

A 25-year-old man was struck multiple times and taken to a hospital in critical condition.

Another 25-year-old man was also taken to a hospital, and his condition is still unknown.

One 22-year-old woman, who suffered a cut to her leg, was driven to a hospital, but police said it is not clear whether she had been struck by a bullet or cut by broken glass.

One of the drivers, whose vehicle the gunmen crashed into, told police his windshield was also struck by gunfire.

Another woman involved in the crash said one of the gunmen pulled a gun on her.

Police said they do not know what led to the shooting, and no arrests have been made.
