On Thursday, January 19, Crowley police responded to a report of a shooting.
Around 9 p.m., officers arrived at the 1600 block of Mackinac Drive in Crowley to find a 22-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound.
The unidentified man was transported to John Peter Smith Hospital by the Crowley Fire Department. The victim appears to be in critical condition.
Although the investigation is ongoing, authorities stated on Facebook that the evidence ‘indicates that this is an isolated incident with no public threat.’
