Whataburger, a Texas fast-food staple, announced on Tuesday that its new menu item, the Whataburger Chili Cheese Burger, is now available for a limited time.
The Whataburger Chili Cheese Burger consists of two fresh, 100% beef patties with two slices of American cheese. The burger is layered with Whataburger’s beef chili, crunchy corn chips, tangy mustard, and crisp onions piled high on a toasted 5-inch bun.
“Whataburger aims to consistently raise the bar by offering bold new burgers,” said Whataburger Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer Rich Scheffler in a press release.
“The Whataburger Chili Cheese Burger delivers a lot of flavor and texture, with our original-recipe chili – made from the same never-frozen beef as our 100% beef patties – combining with crunchy corn chips, tangy mustard, and crisp onions to deliver an experience that’s all-new and yet somehow satisfyingly familiar,” the statement continued.
Last week, Whataburger released two new menu items, the Whataburger Breakfast Bowl and White Chocolate Raspberry Shake, both available for a limited time only.
“The Whataburger Breakfast Bowl is a savory and satisfying serving that delivers the quality and freshness guests have come to expect from us,” said Scheffler in a promotional news release.
The Breakfast Bowl consists of a fresh-baked biscuit, Whataburger gravy, scrambled eggs, two hash browns, and shredded cheddar jack cheese with a choice of sausage or bacon.
Alongside chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla, the white chocolate raspberry shake is now an option.
“With the perfect balance of sweet white chocolate and tart raspberry, the Whataburger White Chocolate Raspberry Shake is love at first sip,” said Scheffler.
Founded in 1950, Whataburger is headquartered in San Antonio but has expanded to include 900 locations in 14 states.
Curbside pickup and delivery are options on the Whataburger App and at Whataburger.com. Customers who create an account earn rewards and get special offers.
