The Texas native who disrupted an American Airlines flight out of DFW Airport by proclaiming “that motherf—r back there is not real” has broken her silence.

Tiffany Gomas released a two-and-a-half-minute clip for TMZ on Sunday addressing the viral incident from July and issuing an apology for her outburst and the disruption it caused other passengers. She also posted the clip on Instagram and YouTube.

“Hi, everyone. It’s me, Tiffany Gomas, probably better known as the ‘crazy plane lady,’ which is completely warranted. As you know, I have been unwilling to speak on the viral video, but I do finally feel that it’s time,” the 38-year-old said in the clip.

“First and foremost, I want to take full accountability for my actions. They were completely unacceptable.”

“Distressed or not, I should have been in control of my emotions, and that was not the case. My use of profanity was completely unnecessary, and I want to apologize to everyone on that plane, especially those that had children aboard. I can’t imagine going through that and trying to explain to your kid what in the world just happened,” said Gomas.

“We all have our bad moments. Some are far worse than others, and mine happened to be caught on camera for the whole world to see multiple times,” she continued while appearing to grow emotional.

While the former Dallas marketing exec acknowledged enjoying some of the viral memes based on her outburst, she also noted how “invasive and unkind” some of the exposure has felt over the last month.

As the video neared its end, Gomas thanked her family and friends for their support and apologized.

“Sorry, y’all. I hope that I can use this experience and do a little good in the world, and that is what I intend to do. I hope that you guys can accept my apology and I can begin to move on with my life.”

The clip ends with text reading, “Join me on my journey of promoting positive mental health and standing up against cyberbullying,” along with the URL to Gomas’ website.

While many stories circulated about the reason for Gomas’ July outburst, The Dallas Express reported that the incident supposedly began after an alleged dispute between her and a relative over stolen AirPods.

Despite its seemingly unassuming trigger, documents obtained by the New York Post revealed that Gomas’ outburst led to a multi-hour delay that saw all passengers having to deboard the plane and undergo another security screening.

Gomas received a verbal criminal trespass notice for her onboard meltdown, was restricted from reboarding the aircraft, and was asked to depart the secure area.
