Target shoppers can now enjoy “deep deals” as part of the retailer’s annual post-holiday sales event.

The Target Clearance Run kicked off on Tuesday and features up to 50% off on clothing, shoes, beauty, toys, and more, according to a news announcement from the company.

Nearly 2,000 Target stores across the U.S. will participate in the annual sales event. Additionally, online deals at Target.com and on the Target app will offer guests some of the “biggest savings” of the year.

“We know our guests love hunting for deals at the end of the holiday season, and The Target Clearance Run makes it even easier for them to wrap up their shopping and start the New Year with budgets on track,” Jill Sando, chief merchandising officer at Target, said in a statement.

“With savings on thousands of items, there’s something for every guest — whether they’re looking for belated gifts, prepping for New Year’s celebrations, getting a head start on holiday décor for next year or spending a holiday gift card. Now is a great time to wander the aisles at your local Target store and discover something special,” she said.

For a limited time, the Target Clearance Run will offer 50% or more off on select holiday sleepwear, beauty gift sets, holiday décor, toys, clothing, shoes, jewelry, and accessories. Guests can also enjoy 30% or more off on select holiday candy.

Shoppers should note that “Exact products and inventory vary by store and online,” per the release.

It’s not uncommon for retailers to offer major end-of-the-year deals. By slashing product prices at the close of the year, Target hopes to significantly reduce its unsold inventory for the next year.
