Dallas-based Match Group has promoted Faye Iosotaluno as chief executive officer of Tinder, the company has announced.

“Faye’s understanding of the dating category is unparalleled and coupled together with her remarkable leadership capabilities, I know Tinder will continue to lead the category,” Match Group CEO Bernard Kim said in a news release. “I look forward to partnering with her to usher in an exciting chapter of growth and innovation that will lead the category and bring Tinder to the next generation of singles.”

A six-year employee of the Match Group portfolio, Iosotaluno became Tinder’s chief operating officer in 2022 after spending five years as chief strategy officer for Match Group — the owner of Tinder and several other dating sites — including Match, OkCupid, and Hinge. Before that, she worked for 15 years building digital consumer services and brands at Warner Bros., Time Warner, SoundCloud, and Viacom Media Networks.

“It’s hard to overstate the impact Tinder has had on relationships and dating as we know them today,” Iosotaluno said. “I’m passionate about connecting people with new technologies that help enable more meaningful lives, experiences and relationships, and believe in the power of this team to take Tinder to its next phase of growth. I’m excited to continue working closely with Bernard and the rest of the team as we find more ways to drive consumer engagement and help users make lasting connections.”

Iosotaluno received a master’s degree in business administration from Harvard Business School, a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Pennsylvania, and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the Wharton School.

Match Group is a leading provider of digital technologies designed to help people make meaningful connections.
