Aircraft manufacturer Embraer has added a maintenance, repair, and overhaul facility at Dallas Love Field, the company announced.

“We are pleased to offer additional service locations for our customers as we will significantly expand the capacity, capability, and footprint of our MRO network in the USA,” Embraer’s Frank Stevens said in a news release. “Our Executive Jets fleet has been growing rapidly over the last several years as strong demand continues across the entire product portfolio. This expansion will provide immediate additional capacity and ensures that we are poised to care for our valued customers and strategically grow for many years to come.”

Headquartered in Brazil, Embraer’s American office is in Melbourne, Florida. Its MRO facility at Dallas Love Field will “support the continued growth” of its executive jet customer base.

Embraer is currently operating as a subtenant at Dallas Love Field, replacing a former operator under a contracted tenant,” Dallas company spokesperson Hilda Lopez said. “The Department of Aviation anticipates minimal impact on operations.”

Founded in the 1960s in Brazil, the company is adding the same facilities at airports in Sanford, Florida, and Cleveland, Ohio.

“Embraer will also substantially increase its mobile response network by 28 teams and enlarge its capabilities, including access to interior services, paint, and component repairs as part of this expansion,” the news release reads. “Service at these locations is set to begin in the second quarter of 2024. Embraer currently has three owned U.S.-based service centers dedicated to its executive jet customers” in Mesa, Arizona, and Melbourne and Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
