Dallas-based COMSovereign Holdings, Inc. has built a portfolio of companies in communications technology fields. This expansion has allowed them to enhance network-wide connectivity.

Through a combination of strategic acquisitions and organic research and development efforts, COMSovereign has established a U.S.-based communications solutions company. This network can provide seamless and reliable full-service 4G LTE Advanced and 5G-NR solutions to the networking, enterprise, and government markets.

The company announced recently that its RF Engineering & Energy Resource (RFE) unit had received Android TV Operator Tier certification from Google on its newest Internet Protocol Television device (IPTV).

The Android TV Operator Tier certification allows system integrators and service providers to thoroughly tailor the Android TV application interface, features, and functionality and provide customer support. Symphony Allegro is a powerful new way for service providers to reach and engage with their customers through their extensive network of communication vendors.

With RFE being certified as an Android TV Operator Tier, it will have the authority to fully customize its IPTV solution for each provider, guaranteeing a unique service offering. RFE is currently in the initial production of 5,000 units, expected to be made available for the first time to customers at the beginning of December.

The Symphony Allegro IPTV set-top box empowers cable and fiber providers, digital content owners, and operators of large hotels or residential facilities to implement a feature-rich, robust, and highly secure IPTV stream device. This technology lets them easily meet the needs of their end-users, replacing the need to rely on traditional set-top boxes.
