Burrito lovers, rejoice! Thursday is National Burrito Day, and Mexican food chains across the United States are celebrating with special deals and promotions.

From free burritos to BOGO offers, USA Today has made a list of some of the best National Burrito Day deals you can get from your favorite restaurants.

Chipotle Mexican Grill

Chipotle Mexican Grill is offering a way to celebrate National Burrito Day by giving away 20,000 burritos on orders of at least $20 made through Grubhub.

Customers can redeem the offer for a free burrito by adding it to their order — no promo code is required.

The offer is limited to one per customer and runs while supplies last through April 8.

Chipotle will also be giving away 10,000 free burritos on Twitter on April 6.

Free burrito codes will be published on the @ChipotleTweets account throughout the day. Followers can text the code to 888-222 for a chance to win a free burrito.

Burritos were the No.1 food item ordered via Grubhub in 2022, climbing up from No.8 the year before, per a press release from the food delivery platform.

All in all, the 30,000 free burritos from Chipotle pales in comparison to the more than 4 million burritos ordered in 2022.

Freebirds World Burrito

To celebrate National Burrito Day, Freebirds World Burrito announced on Twitter that the prices of its burritos will drop to $6.

The restaurant chain is based in Texas; for those unaware, the sheer scale of its monster-sized burritos serves as confirmation.

Freebirds’ flavors are also Texas-inspired, with its burrito fixtures marinated and grilled to suit the Lone Star palette.

The chain’s inaugural Burrito Day deal is valid online, in the Freebirds app, or in person at its restaurants.

Moe’s Southwest Grill

Moe’s Southwest Grill is offering a buy one, get one 50% off deal for National Burrito Day at participating locations nationwide.

In Dallas, Moe’s can be found at Dallas Love Field Airport.

Customers can purchase their burritos online, in the app, or in stores on April 6 to redeem the offer.

Taco Bell

Taco Bell is ringing in National Burrito Day by offering customers a free Grilled Cheese burrito.

True to its name, the Grilled Cheese burrito is stuffed with beef, nacho cheese, rice, tortilla strips, creamy chipotle sauce, sour cream, and a blend of cheeses. Its flour tortilla is then grilled with cheese on top.

To benefit from the deal, customers must make a $20 minimum purchase through the Taco Bell app between April 6 and April 9.

The offer is limited to one per customer.

Not a fan of beef? You can swap it out for a small upcharge.

The promotional offer is also good on delivery orders made via DoorDash, Uber Eats, Postmates, and Grubhub.

Wonder what committee, took months and thousands of dollars to come up with national burrito day. This is what politicians do and they get paid. I’m eating Italian food today.
