Laquore J. Meadows is CEO and co-founder of Invest2Give, LLC. Empowered through a generous donation of $5.3 million to a charity she leads, Laquore began her stock market career with aspirations to achieve financial wealth independently.

Her vision was to one day offer a financial legacy that would be someone else’s answer to prayers. Beginning with just a small seed, she has since leveraged the stock market to accomplish this dream.

A teacher at heart, Ms. Laquore is passionate about sharing her financial knowledge with students of all ages and experience levels. By using the world as her classroom, she is now collaborating with both organizations and individuals to stimulate a conversation about using trading as an opportunity to diversify their income streams, and accompany her students in teaching them how.

Stocks and Sorors was intentionally designed to encourage Black women to become self-directed investors and traders in the stock market.

This is meaningful when you consider that African Americans’ lack of participation in the stock market continues to drive the wealth gap between black and white households, as reported in a 2014 study by Credit Suisse and Brandeis University’s Institute on Assets and Social Policy.

She takes particular pride in presenting her Stocks and Sorors Initiative event, which was created with the idea of building a series of financial catalyst events for women. The event is open to the public and will be held on December 11, 2021, from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. at Work 214, 3400 Oak Grove Ave, Suite 300, in Dallas, TX.
