Elton John has picked the new dates for his back-to-back Dallas shows after testing positive for COVID-19 forced him to postpone them in January.
As reported by The Dallas Express, the concert, part of Elton John’s Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour, was previously slated for two nights: January 25 and January 26 at the American Airlines Center (AAC).
The singer was forced to postpone and reschedule the performances after he tested positive for COVID-19.
A tour representative told The Dallas Morning News that Elton John was fully vaccinated and boosted when he tested positive and displayed only mild symptoms of the virus.
According to the AAC’s website, the British singer has now picked March 10 and 11 as the makeup dates for the concert.
The performances will still take place at the American Airlines Center.
Following the singer’s positive COVID test and subsequent postponement, fans were encouraged to keep their tickets because they would serve as passes into the rescheduled shows, as previously reported by The Dallas Express.
