The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced a recall of Vornado VH2 Whole Room Heaters sold for around $90 on Amazon.

The affected units were sold exclusively on Amazon.com.

This recall was initiated because the power cord can become partially detached, which may create dangers of electric shock and fire.

The recall encompasses approximately 7,780 units in total.

Vornado VH2 Whole Room Heaters are marked with a date code of either “JUL24” or “AUG24” and labeled as “TYPE VH2” on the silver rating label located on the heater’s bottom.
