With early voting starting next week, voters will be looking for who is running next year to be on the state legislature in Tarrant County.
Senate District 10 has incumbent state Sen. Phil King (R-Weatherford) seeking re-election. According to the Fort Worth Report, Democrat candidate Andrew Morris is his challenger.
House District 90 has Rep. Ramon Romero Jr. (D-Fort Worth) running unopposed for re-election.
House District 91 has Rep-Elect David Lowe (R-North Richland Hills), also running unopposed for re-election.
Lowe, a veteran and stay-at-home dad, defeated incumbent state Rep. Stephanie Klick (R-North Richland Hills) in the primary, winning 56.58% of the vote, as previously reported by The Dallas Express.
“The conservative voters of District 91 made their voice heard. They don’t want to vote for Republicans that hold the pockets of Democrats,” Lowe previously told DX.
House District 92 has incumbent state Rep. Salman Bhojani (D-Euless) running unopposed for re-election.
In House District 93, incumbent state Rep. Nate Schatzline (R-Fort Worth) is running for re-election against Democratic challenger Pela Bojorquez.
In House District 94, incumbent state Rep. Tony Tinderholt (R-Arlington) is running for re-election against Democratic candidate Denise Wilkerson.
House District 95 has incumbent state Rep. Nicole Collier (D-Fort Worth) running unopposed for re-election.
In House District 96, incumbent state Rep. David Cook (R-Mansfield) is running for re-election against Democratic challenger Ebony Turner.
House District 97 has Republican candidate John McQueeney facing Democratic candidate Carlos Walker.
In House District 98, incumbent state Rep. Giovanni Capriglione (R-Southlake) is running for re-election against Democratic challenger Scott Bryan White.
In House District 99, incumbent state Rep. Charlie Geren (R-Fort Worth) is running for re-election against Democratic candidate Mimi Coffey.
Lastly, incumbent state Rep. Chris Turner (D-Grand Prairies) is running for re-election against Republican challenger Clint Burgess in House District 101.
