Law enforcement raided a massage parlor in Northwest Dallas on Wednesday, resulting in at least one confirmed arrest.

On October 11, nearly a dozen law enforcement officers were seen outside 4 Seasons Spa. At least four people, two men, and two women were handcuffed outside the parlor. One of the women was wearing a robe.

According to law enforcement, the Dallas Police Special Investigations Division obtained a search warrant for the parlor located in the 2500 block of Walnut Hill Lane. Officers deemed the business to be an illicit massage business.

Kim Hyoju, 49, is the only confirmed arrest at the time of publication. Police reported that Hyoju was arrested for a miscellaneous warrant.

While no further information has been released, an investigation by The Dallas Express found the massage parlor listed on multiple websites designed to promote sexually explicit massage parlors nationwide.

One website has over 60 reviews for 4 Seasons Spa. Each review rates the masseuse by build, hair color, eye color, hair length, age, tattoos, ethnicity, height, and graphic descriptors.

The website goes on to describe what sexual experience the customer received at 4 Seasons Spa.

The 4 Seasons Spa website itself boasts a selection of sexual images and videos, including images of the “staff” that are devoid of women’s faces, showing scandalous photos of their bodies.

The spa is located in Northwest Dallas, in the same district known for its violent sex trafficking. Throughout the day and night, women can be seen walking down the streets, being picked up by pimps and men buying sexual acts from them, as reported by The Dallas Express.

This area, which falls under Council Member Omar Narvaez’s District 6, usually has the highest number of reported cases of prostitution-related offenses.

Texas has seen a vast amount of massage parlors closed for suspected trafficking this year.

Earlier this month, a Denton massage spa was shut down due to suspected human trafficking.

In September, a Garland spa was shut down by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation for the same reason.

In July, two Plano massage parlor employees working at Golden Feet Spa were arrested after allegations of prostitution.

In late August, nine massage spas in the Houston area were shut down after inspectors discovered “several indicators” of human trafficking.

The investigation into 4 Seasons Spa remains ongoing.
