North Texans and visitors to the region will have yet another family-friendly way to round out 2023 and ring in the New Year.

The Dallas Arboretum will host its “Noon Year’s Eve” ball drop on December 31. This event will offer families a way to celebrate the arrival of 2024 without staying up till midnight.

The Arboretum announced that its Noon Year’s Eve event will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on New Year’s Eve at its Rory Meyers Children’s Adventure Garden. This all-ages event will feature winter-themed STEM activities, a bubble dance party, and a countdown and ball drop at noon, according to its website.

Patrons must purchase a Children’s Garden Admission before attending. Tickets are available online.

The City of Dallas will also be hosting several New Year’s Eve events, both family-friendly and adults-only. These include celebrations at local bars and restaurants as well as an opportunity to watch fireworks and enjoy dinner at Reunion Tower in Downtown Dallas.

Additional venues like the Shops at Highland Village, the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History, and the Explorium Denton Children’s Museum will also host special events to close the year. For more details and options, look here.
