An Australian company plans to hire more than 130 workers after opening its U.S. headquarters in the North Texas community of Irving.

“The launch of our U.S. headquarters marks a new chapter in our story — one where we redefine the standards of service and efficiency in the BPO sector,” Acquire BPO CEO Scott Stavretis said in a prepared statement.

Acquire BPO is a global business process outsourcing company that offers such services as back-office functions, automation, technical support, and artificial intelligence for clients in entertainment and media, government, education, retail, health care, transportation, banking and finance, insurance, telecommunications, and logistics.

Acquire is looking to the launch of its Irving headquarters to help entrench it as a “major industry player” in the U.S., making it better positioned to collaborate with its clients across an array of industries.

The company said that the onshore addition for Acquire complements its existing offshore and nearshore offerings.

“The Irving site embodies our core values of transparency, collaboration, passion, and impact. With this launch, Acquire BPO is not just opening a new office; we are unlocking new opportunities to better serve our clients and contribute significantly to the industry’s evolution,” Stavretis said.

The company plans an ambitious growth trajectory that includes potential acquisitions in the business process outsourcing space.

Irving is a favorable base for the company’s U.S. operations due to its access to major highways and the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport, the company said. Acquire’s new U.S. headquarters, located at 3660 Regent Blvd., is led by Tim Read, vice president of operations, and Joseph Dickerson, head of U.S. client services.
