2023 Dallas Holiday Parade
The Dallas Holiday Parade is the city’s largest one-day event, according to its website. Scheduled for December 2, the annual holiday parade includes festive floats, marching bands, dance teams, food and drinks, and visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus.
Admission is free, but bleacher seats are available for purchase if you want a guaranteed spot. The parade starts at 9 a.m. and lasts about two hours. It runs through Downtown Dallas, beginning at the intersection of Commerce and Houston Streets. For more information, click here.
Holiday at the Arboretum

Christmas at Gaylord Texan
Make your way to Grapevine and immerse yourself in a magical sub-zero wonderland at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center. Get ready to be amazed by the breathtaking ICE! exhibit and ice sculptures inspired by the classic holiday tale of Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas!

Mannheim Steamroller Christmas Tour
Another favorite holiday event is Mannheim Steamroller, a neoclassical concert featuring holiday classics with contemporary twists. Lights and projections will make it an experience to remember.
According to the website, the tour will make seven venue stops in Texas between December 5 and December 30 at the Majestic Theatre, LeTourneau University Belcher Center, Texas Trust CU Theatre, Smart Financial Centre, Bass Concert Hall, and the Buddy Holly Hall. Dallas Zoo Lights
The Dallas Zoo is currently hosting a special seasonal event that features holiday-themed displays with over 2 million lights shining bright. The Trains at NorthPark
Benefiting Ronald McDonald House of Dallas, the Trains at NorthPark have sparked the imagination of the young and young-at-heart for the past 36 years. Boasting 1,600 feet of track, you can follow the trains through New England foliage, New York City, and Dallas, to name a few of the sights along the way. The exhibit will run through January 5.
