Dorothy Ray Holley,82, of Farmer’s Branch, TX passed 6/11/2021 in Farmer’s branch, TX. She was born 8/18/1938 to Roy Edward Holley and Ann E. Mathews Holley in Corsicana, TX. She married Glenda Sue Moore on March 12, 2015 in Thackerville, OK. She was an Administrator for Goodyear for 31 Years.
She is survived by Nieces Rhonda Hoffman (Curtis) of Carrollton, TX., Pamela Davis (Kristi Sunstrom) of Dallas, TX, Autumn Maloney (Bret) of Flower Mon, TX., Nephew Claye Moore (Donna) of Flower Mound, TX., Sister-In-Law Carol Moore of Arlington, TX., 4 great nieces, 4 great great nieces, 1 great nephew and 1 great great nephew.
She graduated valedictorian from Corsicana High School, She earned her Associates Degree from Navarro Junior College. She was very involved while attending. In 1957 She was a DeMolay Sweetheart of the Mexia Bi Stone Chapter . President of the Navarro Chapter of the Future Business Leaders of America. Secretary of the Navarro Junior College Band. Sophomore Class Favorite and Member of the Curtain Club and Delta Psi Omega (National Dramatic Fraternity)
Her hobbies were fishing, visiting the Farmer’s Branch Animal Shelter, dancing and playing dominoes. She loved all animals especially cats.
Holley was kind, tender hearted, brave, unpretentious and caring. She made everyone feel special and encouraged.
