The band KISS is bringing the best of two worlds together with Rock & Brews opening in Grapevine.

Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley, two of the frontmen from the popular band, have added a new Grapevine location to their growing repertoire of Rock & Brews, which first launched in 2010.

The franchise was the result of a brainstorming session after a KISS concert between Simmons, Stanley, concert tour promoter Dave Furnao and his brother Dell Furano, and restauranteur Michael Zislis. As a result, the first Rock & Brews location opened in Southern California. Now, the chain operates over 20 locations in California, Florida, Kansas, Missouri, Texas, and Wisconsin.

The chain first debuted in the Dallas-Fort Worth area in 2016, with a location in The Colony. The new restaurant at 520 W. State Hwy. 114 in Grapevine opened its doors on July 2.

According to a press release, the new restaurant offers a “360-degree rock ‘n’ roll dining experience” through its indoor and outdoor seating options, signature Texas-sized Great Wall of Rock, concert lighting, and several 75-inch televisions.

“We’re really excited to be part of Grapevine,” Dave Stevens, Rock & Brews vice president of operations, told the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. “The city has really embraced us.”

Around 50 people gathered on July 2 for the ribbon-cutting ceremony outside the 9,000-square-foot restaurant in Grapevine. They were also the first to sample the menu and drink selection, which features craft beer and remixes of American classics, such as hamburgers and wings.

The Grapevine location even boasts a Southern BBQ Trio entree, which comes with a variety of barbecue meats and delicious side dishes.

In addition to the plentiful food options, the extensive list of brews includes almost 50 beers on tap and dozens of bottle options. The restaurant also offers an extensive list of specialty drinks and wine.

It comes as no surprise that Rock & Brews offers more than just a rock-n-roll vibe at its locations. Live musical performances occasionally take place, bringing a dynamic environment to this culinary experience.

In Grapevine, the musical lineup for July features 10 artists, with three performances happening in the restaurant’s opening week.
