Andretti Indoor Karting and Games is bringing a second location to North Texas.

The new 95,000-square-foot entertainment center will celebrate its grand opening at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at 3750 State Hwy. 161 in Grand Prairie, according to a press release. The first 50 guests will receive a free Andretti logo YETI tumbler.

On Saturday, the first 100 guests will receive one hour of arcade play for a future visit and will be entered into a raffle in which 10 guests will win one hour of video game play every week for a year, and one guest will win a birthday party valued at up to $500. Terms and conditions apply.

The new facility will feature high-speed electric Superkarts on a multi-level track, a state-of-the-art arcade, Hologate VR, Hyperdeck VR, Limitless VR, a two-story Laser Tag arena, Spark Interactive Duckpin Bowling, and a 7D Xperience Motion Theater.

“We are thrilled to bring the joy of Andretti Indoor Karting and Games to the community of Grand Prairie this summer,” said Collette Shillcutt, general manager of the Grand Prairie location, in a statement, reported WFAA. “We know the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex is bustling with families, some recently having moved to the area, and are seeking a way to connect and create memories and fun. We can’t wait to welcome in the community to show them our new entertainment center and give them the world-class Andretti experience.”

The facility will include a full-service restaurant with Brick Oven Pizza and a bar serving local craft beer selections and specialty cocktails. The center will also have a 6,000-square-foot event space capable of hosting groups of 10 to 2,000 people. It will feature in-house catering, free Wi-Fi, and comprehensive A/V capabilities.

The Grand Prairie location will be open Sunday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to midnight and Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 a.m.

A third North Texas location — a 100,000-square-foot entertainment center — is coming to Fort Worth in September.
