The Keller Southlake Pride Festival, set for Oct. 4 at St. Martin in the Fields Episcopal Church, is advertising all-ages programming that includes drag acts, a “transgender” performer with explicit lyrics about “sex-alteration” surgery, and sponsorships from surrogacy organizations.
Although promoted as “Keller Pride,” the venue is physically located in Southlake, though it carries a Keller mailing address. Keller Mayor Armin Mizani issued a statement on X clarifying the city’s position:
I’m aware of the “Pride Kel-So” event at St. Martin’s Episcopal Church — physically located in Southlake but with a Keller mailing address. Let me be clear: the City of Keller is not involved and does not condone this event.
Though promoted as “family-friendly,” the event’s…

According to its Eventbrite page, the festival is “open to all ages” and includes an “LGBTQ+ Teen Ticket” option.
“Support LGBTQ+ & ally owned businesses that you’ll meet at our vendor tables, feel the impact of realizing how huge the Keller/Southlake LGBTQ+ community is, and experience the Oak Lawn Band as well as speakers and other entertainment!” the event page states.
Among the scheduled performers is “Madame Lexical,” a “transgender” singer whose tracks include explicit references to “sex-alteration” surgery.

In one song, titled “Beyond Meat Pssy,” the artist sings: “I wrote this song for my surgeon blast. While he is crafting me my Beyond Meat Pssy. Shout-outs, Dr. Hanna. Hope I don’t look too goofy under anesthetics.”
The lyrics continue: “Pump me with fentanyl in my veins. Numb me the pain so I don’t go insane.”
Another track, “Attack Bitch,” contains graphic sexual references.

Madame Lexical has been identified as Alexis Roemer, a 23-year-old graduate of the University of Texas at Dallas who describes herself online as a musical artist, producer, and sound designer. Roemer’s social media includes TikTok videos with firearm simulation effects, one showing a virtual Sig P320 handgun and another overlaying a target graphic labeled “Texan leftists.”
The performer has also been involved in interfaith concerts benefiting the North Texas TRANSportation Network, a group that provides travel grants to “gender-diverse” minors.
Another performer, “Anastasia Doll,” is a drag artist whose social media posts show sexually suggestive routines.
Sponsors include Simple Surrogacy, affiliated with “Men Having Babies,” which provides consultation services to gay men pursuing fatherhood through surrogacy.
The host venue, St. Martin in the Fields Episcopal Church, has previously promoted “transgender education workshops” on its website. Organizers of the Keller Southlake Pride Festival have solicited positive online reviews of the church in exchange for the use of its property.
Organizers celebrated ticket sales, with one Facebook post declaring: “Also….Pride Kel-So Drag Show & Games!!! We’re approaching 200 tickets spoken for. In just two weeks! Y’all are amazing.”
The event’s scheduled presenters include Liz Dyer, founder of the Mama Bears group, who has publicly described raising a child identifying as “trans” from the age of 3. The festival is also linked to The Dreyson, an organization operated by April Gail Dreyson and Shaina Ivana Dreyson of Keller. Public records show April Dreyson divorced Richard Lee Rice in 2021, while Shaina Dreyson legally changed her name from Shaina Dreyer in 2022.
Organizers have also used social media to criticize conservative figures, including Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk. Following Kirk’s assassination earlier this month, Pride Keller posted on Facebook: “…his spewing hatred towards POC, women, and the LGBTQ+ community, and our right to call him out on it…isn’t political.”
The festival has drawn pushback from community activists and political groups.
“This is another song he wrote called ‘Attack Bitch,’” Protect Texas Kids President Kelly Neidert wrote on X, sharing lyrics and questioning the event’s suitability for children.
Update: This story has been updated to include a statement from Keller Mayor Armin Mizani clarifying that the festival is being held in Southlake, not Keller, and that the City of Keller is not involved with or condoning the event.
The Dallas Express reached out to Keller Pride for comment but did not receive a response.
