Police Look for Suspect in Northwest Dallas Shooting

The Dallas Police Department is searching for a suspect in a Sunday evening shooting in northwest Dallas. Investigators said the man opened fire and wounded someone after a dispute at about 6 p.m. on Dennis Road near Royal Lane and Webb Chapel Road. They also said he spotted heavy tattoos and didn’t have a shirt, was wearing black pants, and white tennis shoes. 

According to police investigations, the gunman fled in a white four-door Nissan Altima with another man, who was also shown in a photo released by the authorities. He can be seen wearing gray pants, a gray-and-white striped shirt, and black tennis shoes alongside the main suspect.  

The victim was taken to a hospital and is stable, according to police. They have not released the identity of the victim. 

The police are asking for the public’s help to find the man. They have stated that the second man is a person of interest. Anyone with information on the case is urged to contact Detective Claudia Zuniga at 214-671-3584 or [email protected] and refer to case No. 165658-2021.
