The vehicle of a woman suspected of kidnapping her two grandchildren has been identified by the McKinney Police Department.

Police are currently searching for a black 2009 Ford Escape with a Texas license plate reading “MTC6093,” per an updated Amber Alert issued Friday afternoon.

“LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS BELIEVE THESE CHILDREN TO BE IN GRAVE OR IMMEDIATE DANGER. IF YOU HAVE ANY INFORMATION REGARDING THIS ABDUCTION, CALL THE MCKINNEY POLICE DEPARTMENT AT (972) 547-2700,” read the updated alert.

As previously reported in The Dallas Express, Jame Burns is being sought by police for allegedly abducting her son’s two daughters, Jennifer Burns, 6, and Jessica Burns, 9.

The suspect has previously been convicted of burglary and was arrested for abandoning or endangering a child with criminal negligence in 2017.

Jame Burns is 5 feet, 2 inches tall, weighs roughly 230 pounds, and was last seen in McKinney on Thursday wearing black clothes.
