A bus carrying Fort Worth Independent School District students to school on Tuesday overturned after another driver cut the bus driver off.
The incident on August 16 caused the bus driver to swerve, lose control, and drive off the road into a field. All three students on board and the driver escaped without any serious injuries. The students were taken to school after they had been checked for medical injury.
The Dallas Independent School District faced a similar situation when one of its buses crashed in Mesquite on December 12, 2021. As reported by The Dallas Express, the bus collided with two box trucks on Interstate 635 near Interstate 30.
At the time of the crash, 47 people were on board, including teachers, students, and the driver. Two students were treated for minor injuries, but no serious injuries were reported.
