An Arlington resident won the “Texas Two Step” jackpot when the ticket they bought at a Euless convenience store matched the winning numbers drawn on August 8.

The numbers drawn — 4, 11, 17, and 33, with a bonus number of 9 — yielded a prize of $1.75 million.

The jackpots for the Texas Two Step game started at $200,000 and increased for subsequent drawings whenever there was no winning ticket. When the Arlington resident won, there had been no winner for almost a month, making that person the biggest winner this year by far.

The QuikTrip where the winning ticket was sold was located at 700 S. Industrial Blvd. The winner chose to remain anonymous.
