Four people, including three children, were hurt when their parked car was hit as they filled up at a Plano gas station.

According to Plano police, the incident happened on the morning of August 7 at the pumps near Walmart on the corner of Coit Road and Spring Creek Parkway. An adult and children were parked trying to fill up with gas when another car hit a curb and ended up crashing into their vehicle.

Police said the three children in the car were hurt and transferred to the hospital for treatment of their wounds. The adult was also hospitalized. The extent of their injuries and their current state is not known.

The identities of the victims were not stated. It is also unclear how many people were in the second car and if more people had been in the parked vehicle besides the hospitalized four.

Police are still investigating the incident and trying to find out what led the second car to veer off the road and into the gas station.
