Wylie High soccer star Alexandria Stickney headlines a list of five Pirate athletes recently inking letters of intent.
Stickney, who was recently named District 9-6A All-District honorable mention, signed with Tyler Junior College in Texas. On her Next College Student Athlete page, Stickney, who also competes for the Sting Royal ECNL team, describes herself as “a very versatile player,” who will “play anywhere you put me.”
Stickney further describes her “speed and strength to the ball” as some of her greatest attributes.
Joining Stickney in moving on from Wylie to compete at the next level are teammate Emery Gilbert (Richland College) football stars Christopher Trufant (Southwestern Oklahoma State University) and Ethan Carter (Tabor College) and baseball star Reese Bassinger (Odessa College).
