Kaitlyn Vess headlines the latest group of Ursuline players to sign on to compete at the next level, inking a letter of intent with the University of Dallas.

For Vess, who started playing at age four and switched to goaltending by the time she was just eight, the moment has been a long time coming.

By the time she was a teenager, Vess had competed in countless club games, ultimately totaling 382 for FC Dallas over nine years, where she amassed 102 shutouts

I look forward to playing at the college level,” she said. “And I’m excited about starting a new chapter at the University of Dallas.”

Vess said she plans to major in biology on a pre-veterinarian track.

Joining Vess in the latest Ursuline signings are Devon Vopni (Baylor University), Joy Liu (Bowdoin College) and Allison Wilbert (Roanoke College).
