The 2024 Xfinity U.S. Gymnastics Championships, filled with renowned Olympians and Olympic hopefuls, will be held at Fort Worth’s Dickies Arena at the end of May.
The event will be the second Olympic qualifying competition hosted at Dickies Arena, following the 2021 national championships ahead of the Tokyo Olympics. Over 150 men and women are expected to compete, including former champions Gabby Douglas, Simone Biles, Sunisa Lee, Fred Richard, and Khoi Young.
“With the incredible success of the 2021 championships, we are excited to return to Fort Worth,” Stefanie Korepin, USA Gymnastics chief programs officer, said in a press release. “The Xfinity U.S. Gymnastics Championships will offer fans an early look at the athletes who ultimately will compete to make the 2024 Olympic team.”
The 2024 U.S. Gymnastics Championships are the final opportunities for Olympic hopefuls to qualify for the U.S. Olympic Team Trials, which will be held at the end of June in Minneapolis and determine those who will represent the country at the Olympic Games in Paris this summer.
Eight sessions will be held from May 30 through June 2, with the men competing on Thursday, May 30, and Saturday, June 1, and the women competing on Friday, May 31, and Sunday, June 2.
Tickets for the 2024 Xfinity U.S. Gymnastics Championships can be purchased through Ticketmaster. Prices currently range from $281 to $844, and the platform is also offering a complete eight-session plan.
It is also the second national gymnastics event the venue will host in 2024, with the 2024 NCAA Women’s National Collegiate Gymnastics Championships coming to Fort Worth on April 18 and 20 for the fifth consecutive season. Dickies Arena is scheduled to continue to host the NCAA Championships through 2026.
