Former Dallas Cowboys defensive end Demarcus Lawrence took shots at the organization following his departure, prompting Micah Parsons to chime in to defend America’s Team.

Lawrence recently signed a three-year contract worth up to $42 million with the Seattle Seahawks, which will be the first time in his NFL career that he has played for a team other than the Cowboys, per NFL.com.

Shortly after signing with Seattle, Lawrence conducted an exclusive interview with Hawk Blogger’s Brian Nemhauser and took shots at his former team.

“Dallas is my home. I made my home there. My family lives there. I’m forever gonna be there. I know for sure I’m not gonna win a Super Bowl there,” he said.

These comments are noteworthy coming from a player who spent more than a decade with the Cowboys and was widely regarded as one of the locker room’s vocal leaders.

Despite his efforts to win a Super Bowl with the franchise, the former Cowboys defensive end managed to win just three total playoff games during his 11 seasons in Dallas.

Parsons and quickly responded to a video of Lawrence making these comments, posting on X: “This what rejection and envy look like! This some clown shit! 🤡”

Lawrence responded to Parons’ post, taking shots at his presence on social media over the past few seasons and claiming that is why the team is unable to win big games:

Once again, these comments are odd, considering Lawrence has been on the same team as Parsons since the two-time All-Pro linebacker was drafted in 2021.

Multiple other current and former Cowboys players have reacted to this feud, with now New York Giants defensive end Chauncey Golston writing in a separate post that he “thought it was a brotherhood over EVERYTHING.”

Current Cowboys linebacker Demarvion Overshown also seemingly commented on the feud in a separate post, though it is unconfirmed whether he was referencing Lawrence’s statement.

“COWBOYS vs everybody,” he posted on social media.

While many may find this feud surprising after Lawrence spent his entire career with the Cowboys, Bobby Belt of 105.3 The FAN reported that he and Parsons “didn’t get along” and the feud has been brewing for a while, per Sports Illustrated.

Unfortunately, fans will not get to see these players match up in a game during the upcoming regular season, with the Cowboys not scheduled to play the Seahawks next year.
