Wednesday, December 20
Wofford at Oklahoma State
Final Score: Oklahoma State 76, Wofford 70
The Cowboys held off a late rally by the Terriers to take the win. Oklahoma State’s Bryce Thompson hit five three-pointers, and Javon Small hit another four three-point shots in the win. Late-game turnovers doomed Wofford as the Terriers chipped away at a 10-point deficit in the final minutes.

No.7 Oklahoma at No.11 North Carolina
Final Score: North Carolina 81, Oklahoma 69
After jumping into the AP Poll’s top 10 for the first time in February 2021, the Sooners ran into a suffocating Tar Heels defense that opened the game 12-2. North Carolina’s RJ Davis extended his streak as the team’s leading scorer, knocking down 23 points during the game.

Thursday, December 21
UT Arlington at Texas Tech
Final Score: Texas Tech 77, UT Arlington 66
Texas Tech came out on top of this sloppy affair that saw both teams each turn over drives 17 times. The win keeps the Red Raiders undefeated at home this season, but the team will need to improve significantly to keep the streak alive.

TCU at Old Dominion
Final Score: TCU 111, Old Dominion 87
TCU opened the Diamond Head Classic by destroying Old Dominion. Its 111 points were the most scored in the tournament’s history and is now the highest score ever posted by the Horned Frogs.
Texas State at No.3 Houston
Final Score: Houston 72, Texas State 37
Houston remains unbeaten after this blow-out win that saw Emanuel Sharp (17 points) and Ja’Vier Francis (13 points) nearly outscore their opponent’s entire team. Houston’s defense is shaping up to be a juggernaut, forcing 27 turnovers in the game.
Next up: Houston hosts Penn on December 30.
Wichita State at Kansas State
Final Score: Kansas State 69, Wichita State 60
Kansas State came out on top of this low-scoring affair with a pair of free throws late in the game by Tylor Perry. Kansas State has now beaten Wichita State five consecutive times. The Wildcats hit 13-of-18 free throws in the game.

Friday, December 22
Texas A&M-Corpus Christi at No.19 Texas
Final Score: Texas 71, Texas A&M 55
Texas’ Dillon Mitchell earned a double-double, hitting 14 points and 13 rebounds against Texas A&M. Five Texas players scored double-digits. Texas A&M-Corpus Christi narrowed the Longhorns’ lead with just under seven minutes remaining in the game, but couldn’t hold off Dylan Disu in his second game back after undergoing foot surgery.
TCU at Nevada
Final Score: Nevada 88, TCU 75
After posting 111 points in a beat down of Old Dominion on Thursday, the Horned Frogs were unable to overcome the Nevada Wolfpack, ending the Frogs’ holiday vacation early. Tensions were high during the game, and TCU head coach Jamie Dixon was ejected four minutes before halftime. Nevada held a lead throughout the game, and TCU could not close the gap before the final whistle.
