The Dallas Express is proud to continue its exclusive content partnership with Dallas Sports Network for a new season of Dallas Cowboys and SMU football coverage.

The Dallas Express CEO, Chris Putnam, a Cowboy’s fan since birth and TCU alum, joins the Dallas Sports Network hosts Chris Yates and Mark Elfenbein in studio each week for a new The Dallas Express segment, “Putnam’s Perspective”. The feature will spotlight interviews with former Cowboys players, coaches and media legends.

Yates, a former Fox 4 sports reporter and producer, is the founder of Dallas Sports Network. Elfenbein, a Hillcrest High School graduate, is a longtime host on the popular sports talk station KCTK The Ticket 96.7FM/1310AM.

Yates said, “We couldn’t be more excited to be partnering with The Dallas Express for another season. DX has been instrumental to Dallas Sports Network’s growth as they’ve experienced tremendous growth of their own. It’s been a win-win partnership. Chris is really knowledgeable about the Cowboys and their history, so asking him to join the show was a no-brainer.”

Putnam added, “DX is very careful about who we co-brand with. We want to work with other independent, new media brands that, like us, focus on exclusive, original content. Dallas Sports Network has been a perfect fit to complement our Cowboys and SMU coverage. Chris, Mark, and the team are terrific, and I couldn’t be more flattered to take on a formal role in the show. For a Dallas-born kid whose blood runs silver and blue, talking Cowboys football with the ‘Legends of The Star’ doesn’t get much better.”

The debut episode of Putnam’s Perspective features an interview with iconic former WFAA sports anchor and longtime Cowboys radio color announcer Dale Hansen about his role in the new Netflix mini-series America’s Team: The Gambler and His Cowboys, which currently holds a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Things get heated — and entertaining — as Putnam presses Hansen with hard-hitting questions about coaches, players, and, of course, the owner and general manager.
