The Texas Rangers announced on Monday that the organization will host the 37th annual Fan Fest on Saturday, January 18, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Globe Life Field.
This event will feature various opportunities for fans to meet current and former Rangers players, run the bases in Globe Life Field, and participate in a whiffle ball Home Run Derby.
The newest aspect of this event that is expected to draw many fans is a baseball card and memorabilia show, which will allow seasoned collecting veterans and newcomers to the industry to view incredibly rare cards that may not be available at other locations.
Chris DeRuyscher, Vice President of Ballpark Entertainment, said the Rangers are proud to host another Fan Fest to bring fans together with the members of the team and organization.
“Fan Fest is all about connecting with the incredible fans who are the heart of our team. It’s a special opportunity for fans to meet their favorite players, step onto the field, and experience the excitement of baseball up close,” he said, per the City of Arlington.
“There’s no better way to celebrate the start of a new season than by bringing everyone together to share in the energy and passion that make this game so special.”
Tickets for the event are already on sale and can be purchased here with the prices set at $20 for adults and $10 for children between the ages of 3-13.
On the evening prior to the event, the organization will host the Texas Rangers Awards Dinner to recognize the players on the 2024 team for their performances during the previous season, per a press release posted by the City of Arlington.
In addition, Rangers second baseman Marcus Semien will be honored with the Jim Sundberg Community Achievement Award while Shin-Soo Choo will be honored with the Mark Holtz Alumni Award.
Tickets for the Rangers Awards Dinner can be purchased at rangers.com/awardsdinner, with individual tickets on sale for $150 and tables for 10 people on sale for $1,500.
